Dr Clare Hodges

BSc (hons), MB BS (hons), MRCGP, DFSRH

Doctor

I joined QPMC in 2010 as a GP Registrar and became a partner in 2012 when I qualified as a GP. I work 2 days a week at the surgery and am known to most of the patients as ‘the voice on the phone’.

Many of you will have met me when you came in for your Covid vaccinations – something that I have taken a great interest in since the vaccination programme started on the 8th December 2020.  I am also involved in the running of the Urgent Care Centre at North Tees University Hospital and have worked tirelessly in both areas to keep patients safe during the Covid pandemic.  Alongside this I have been involved in working collaboratively with our local Primary Care Network practices to provide extra services for our patients, such as a social prescriber team, physiotherapy, pharmacy and mental health service.

In my spare time I am a Mum to 3 boys and spend a lot of time supporting them in their interests-Gymnastics, Karate and Scouting. I still try to make time for myself and took up running during lockdown.  I have now taken part in the Great North Run and hope to do so again next year.

Working pattern: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
